Carol Collins Miles

Posted by Paige Bluhdorn

A former top model and restauranteur, Carol Collins Miles is a respected singer / songwriter who performs classic jazz and soul, along with her own original songs – and is often engaged to sing the National Anthem …acappela!

Her preferred trio of musicians are Three of a Kind.  Allen Batts on keyboards, Jeff Madlock on double Bass and George Buckner on drums.
She loved living in Paris, France and working as a top fashion model with the late Hubert de Givenchy, Manfred Thierry Mugler, Valentino in Rome, the late Oscar de la Renta in New York and many more around the world.

Her song Christmas in Paris was released on December 9th 2022. It is a remix of the original version on her Givenchy & Me album released in 2021.

Carol opened the Creole-Cajun Babylone bis Restaurant in Paris with her partners and it is still going strong at 34 Rue Tiquetonne in the 2nd arrondissement.

Based in Texarkana, she hopes to sing again in New York, perhaps at the Carlisle Hotel. She was in Harlem the weekend of September 28, 2019 to sing at artist, Mikel Kilgour’s Josephine Baker Exhibit Reception at The Alhambra Ballroom, where she sang La Baker’s J’aime Deux Amours and was honored, along with Sandi Bass and Dianne Washington-Kay, as the original members of Givenchy’s Black American Cabine of models.

She is currently working on an album of original songs with plans for a Spring 2021 release.

Carol Collins Miles is available to performance at jazz and classical concerts worldwide.
