Jessica Hendricks was born in Paris into an entrepreneurial family who raised her with a wide-eyed pioneering spirit for design and travel. While teaching English in South East Asia during her studies at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Hendricks traveled to Cambodia. She was fascinated by the tangled synthesis of both the beautiful, and heartbreakingly violent past of this small Buddhist country, and was inspired to create Brave to celebrate this unique community, and connect courageous women across the globe.
